Planning insight shaped by government and private-sector experience.
Aaron Sutherland is a seasoned town planner whose career commenced in 1999. He has been a Director of Sutherland & Associates Planning since 2012 and has recently established Sutherland Urban Planning.
Aaron holds a Bachelor of Town Planning from the University of New South Wales. His government career included roles with Campbelltown, Bankstown, Parramatta, Waverley, Auburn and Strathfield councils, the Borough of Ealing Council in London, the City of Sydney and the Department of Planning's Urban Assessments team.
Before entering the private sector, Aaron spent five years with the City of Sydney, including as an Area Planning Manager overseeing development assessment across the local government area and specialising in the Green Square Urban Renewal Area.
